B. Consideration of the Following Requests for Fireworks Displays:
1) The City of Rocky Mount – at 550 Independence Drive (Sports Complex) on Friday, July 1, 2022 (rain date July 9, 2022);
2) Rise Church - at 3520 Bishop Road on Saturday, July 2, 2022; and
3) Englewood Baptist Church - on Church Property at 1350 South Winstead Avenue on Sunday,
July 4, 2022
C. Consideration of the Following Ordinance Amendments:

Project Ordinance Amendment:
1) Reduces budget appropriations relative to Economic Development Project “Blvd” by $200,000 (grant deobligated due to inability of developer to meet incentive agreement requirements); and
Budget Ordinance Amendment:
1) Appropriates funds to the General Fund ($600,000) to cover increased costs associated with contracted waste disposal due to an increase in collected waste volume;
2) Appropriates funds to the General Fund ($1,360,000) for acquisition of land for multiple City projects and a replacement rear loader for the Environmental Services Division of Public Works; and
3) Appropriates funds to the General Fund ($79,718) for reimbursement of City expenses incurred in response to the COVID-19 pandemic
D. Consideration of Application for One (1) New Taxi Right License for Gerald L. Burney

Recommended Action: Approve Consent Agenda (inclusive of approval of temporary street closures, fireworks display requests, adoption of Ordinances and approval of taxicab license and authorization for the City Clerk to execute taxicab license)
