a) Firefighting equipment and rescue tools – award to Municipal Emergency Services (MES) @ total cost of $95,078.06 (based on bid awarded by Sourcewell Group Purchasing Program
[Contract #040220-MES]) ; and
b) Four (4) Pac-Mac Loaders mounted on 2023 Freightliner Cab/Chassis – award to Carolina Environmental Systems, Inc. @ total cost of $776,136 via North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association Group Purchasing Program Bid #22-06-0426R

Recommended Action: 1) Award Bids as Recommended; and
2) Authorize the Purchasing Division to Issue Purchase Orders and Execute
Bid Documents in Accordance with the Council’s Award
